Hello!!
Thank you for following me over to this new account, people who knew me before! And to the ones who just started watching me for the first time: HI!
So yes, shiny and new. I won't go into why I decided to change names and only include a few of you in this because, quite frankly, it's not that exciting. There wasn't any drama, just a huge desire for change in general. It's weird to have practically nothing in my gallery compared to the old one, especially after building it up over five years or so. Oh well. This year seems to be the one of huge, major changes for me in general. I've discovered where I want my art to go, I'm depending on references less and trying to get the things I imagine onto paper (which is a HUGE step for me), and most importantly I'm finally going to be moving out and supporting myself. I figure this all goes hand in hand.
Anyway, I uploaded a new drawing of Florence and I have another one of Dita nearly finished. I may not get the chance to upload it for a while because I have to finish it, first of all, and I'll probably be without a scanner for some time. I'm not going to say "I promise to update more regularly" because I'm fairly certain that won't happen. I'm not good at producing things in a timely manner, which is something that I really want to work on. I've set goals for my art this year, and hopefully by December I'll have made huge leaps and bounds and made myself able to pump out art like nobody's business. So, keep your eye out but don't expect loads of work for at least a few months. I have to get myself on my feet first.
Love,
Lou

I SAW DITA SHE HAS MY ART I THINK I'VE DIED
HOLY SHIT YOU GUYS. HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT.
I went and saw Dita Von Teese's show last night and it was the most incredible and beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. If she comes to your town, GO. Don't hesitate because of ticket prices (which are reasonable, in my book), and JUST. FUCKING. GO. It's worth every cent. I might write more about the show itself when I have more time, but really I'm just updating this journal to a) get the old one off my profile and b) tell you a brief synopsis of how I got a print to Dita.
So, I was going to give her this drawing, but I ended up selling the original for the price of a ticket to her show becaus
This Just In!
Hello, my loves!
I have a few exciting developments, believe it or not. First of all, I managed to get a job after staying in the city for only a month and now I'm able to officially move here and STAY! FOR GOOD! I'm so excited; I love the city! I'm also liking my new job so far, even though I've only been there for a couple of days. I think I'll be good at it.
Also, I finished a new drawing of Dita, which I'll be posting as soon as I find what I need to plug the scanner into my computer (grumble grumble).
Some big news for me is that Dita is actually coming here in May, AND I'M SO EXCITED I COULD BARF ALL OVER MY KEYBOARD. I'm incredibly
